This 5 Month Odyssey takes us from our home in Gippsland Victoria, through South Australia via Port Augusta then onto Alice Springs.  We intend to spend some time in the Alice, taking in the popular sights such as; Uluru, Chambers Pillar and the Olgas before continuing on to Darwin.  From Darwin we head Into Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks before turning west and onto Broome.  For a large part of the trip, our intention is to explore the Northern West Australian coast.  The fishing gear is packed, so we will be wetting a line where ever possible.  Our journey then continues south along the coast to Perth, and depending on the time remaining, further exploration of the coast below Perth including Albany and Esperance.  Heading North from Esperance we soak up the atmosphere of Kalgoorlie and its surrounding area before tackling the Nullarbor Plain as we head for home.  A short break along the Ayre Peninsular at Ceduna and Streaky Bay to finish off what we anticipate as being a fantastic journey.  Finally, a quick run for home via the York Peninsular and Adelaide, then back the van into the shed and consider planning our next big trip.
